Dos Marinas

Hash House Harriers

The Costa Blanca chapter of

the Drinking Club with a Running Problem!!

Welcome to the Dos Marinas HHH chapter of the worldwide “Drinking Club with a Running Problem.”  If you can Run, Stagger, Walk or Crawl then you are qualified to join this international group of men and women of all ages who meet regularly to partake in some exercise and to quench their subsequent thirst with the amber nectar.

If the above sounds interesting and you  have a wacky sense of humour, then you are probably Hasher material.

Just come along and join in the fun. You can contact us at dosmarinash3@gmail.com and we'll get back to you ASAP. We´re not as bad as we look.

Where we (usually) run!

Marina Alta and Marina Baixa (thus Dos Marinas HHH) are two central/coastal comarcas within the Alicante area of the Autonomous Community of Valencia. This beautiful part of the Costa Blanca is where we do our running, crawling and drinking.

2MH3 runs take place every two or three weeks but always on a Monday. Mondays are definitely Hashdays!!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

2MH3 Risk Assessment - Important to Read

We live in litigious times. it is unfair that those of us who put time into making 2MH3 a success (members of the Cie and the Hares) should, in the worst of cases, be even remotely held responsible for any mishap that may occur on the Hash. This Risk Assessment, the decisions made and the advice given by the Cie as a result of this exercise, is meant to reduce any risk of that happening. We are all adults, we are now all forewarned, the decisions you make and the actions you take are yours. Please click on the following link and avail yourself of the risks of Hashing.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Disclaimer

Hashing is NOT a guided activity, nor is it led by professionals. If you take part in a Hash run or walk you do so of your own free will, voluntarily and fully aware that it is not guided. The Dos Marinas Hash House Harriers merely schedules the activity and publishes details of the same.

We would remind you that running, whether that be in the mountains, outdoors in general or in urban areas, entails a number of inherent risks depending on the terrain. The mountain environment particularly is uncontrollable and can at times be hostile. By taking part in this activity you accept those risks. It is important you avail yourself of a copy of the 2MH3 Risk Assessment by the blue box above.

Each participant must be aware of their own physical condition and must decide whether or not to take part based on the details of the activity provided. Participants are responsible for their own safety and should not take part unless they are sure that they will be able to perform the activity without placing themselves or others at risk.

Each participant is responsible for wearing/carrying with them any equipment that they may need to take part in the activity safely (including water, a cap and sun-cream in hot weather, clothing appropriate to the conditions, be that hot, cold or wet). They must also heed any instructions given to them by the organisers. All participants understand that they bear their own responsibility should they fail to heed or comply with the above obligations.

Again, please click on the 2MH3 Risk Assessment button on this page for further information of the inherent risks of Hashing.
